American entrepreneur Eric Lefkosky is the CEO and co-founder of the company of Tempus. He’s also the chairman and co-founder of the company of Groupon, co-founder of InnerWorkings, Mediaocean, Uptake, Echo Global Logistics and a Chicago-based venture capital firm called Lightbank. He began his career selling carpet at the University of Michigan. In the year of 1993, after law school, he and a friend from college had borrowed money from relatives so that they could purchase an apparel company named Brandon Apparel. In the year of 1999, Keywell and Lefkosky had created an Internet company that was called Starbelly, which specialized in promotional products. The company has experienced rapid instances of “pre-bubble” growth in the Internet sector and had been sold to a company called Halo Industries in the year of 2000. Based on, he had joined Halo so that he could become the COO. A bit more than a year later, the company had gone bankrupt. Multiple lawsuits were given by shareholders to Halo and Starbelly, of which all were resolved by the year of 2004.
