Establishing a career as a lawyer is a broadly diverse process across the globe. Age and competence are common requirement in most jurisdictions. However, some jurisdictions may require interested individuals to possess a documentation of immigration status or citizenship. In Brazil, an individual becomes a registered lawyer after passing the High School National Exam, obtaining an undergraduate degree in law, and passing the Brazilian Bar Examination.

Compulsory subjects for Brazilians pursuing law degrees

Each University structures its internal academic curricula autonomously. However, the National Council of Education has classified some subjects as mandatory. They fall into three main Axes:

  1. Basic Education Axis: This category consists of subjects that touch on topics such as law, economics, sociology, political sciences, and philosophy.
  2. Professional Education Axis: This axis comprises of subjects that teach prospective lawyers the various legal terms that exist in the legal profession. They range from constitutional law, international law and administrative law.
  3. Practical Education Axis: This category is the most significant since it involves putting into practice what is learned in class. Under this category, students must undergo a vocational training of not less than 300 hours.

After serving as interns and earning a law degree, students can register for the Brazilian Bar Examination. The registration process opens twice or thrice every year. The Bar approves students who attain 60 percent and above.

On the other hand, there is no information online about the exact numbers of visitors each year due to event owner’s high believe in security purposes.

Most people believe it’s best if you visit Frye Cay, in the Bahamas, during spring because it’s less likely to rain which allows visitors to enjoy the scenery especially the miles of beautiful blue ocean surrounding the island.

If you are planning on attending this even this year and this will be your first visit, there are a few things you should know:

1.Don’t plan on being cashless:

Meaning you shouldn’t depend on frequent use of your credit, debit, or prepaid card. It’s highly recommended to have cash on hand due to not having access to any ATMs while on the island.

  1. Make sure you are planning a visit one during the times there will be no rain.

While it’s less likely rain often during late April and early March on the island, you should still be aware that rain can happen regardless. In other words, you should prepare yourself by having other activities in mind, the right clothing and so forth.

  1. If this is your first visit and you are a bit skeptical about where to go and what to visit, a map is the best thing to have.

You will have access to a digital map of the island enabling you to find what you want to visit without feeling like you are going to get lost. Good thing is everything is within walking distance of each other and if not it is accessible to visitors by boat.
