Harper’s Bazaar named Dr. Jennifer Walden one of the 24 best beauty surgeons in the country. She trained in New York and worked there for 8 years (2004 to 2011). During these years she started and led an extremely successful practice. But after her twin sons were born in November 2010, she began to think of raising them in her hometown near family. So soon she moved and set up her own very practice in her hometown of Austin, Texas. In just three years, this practice became just as successful as the first. Along with being an award-winning surgeon, she’s also a published author, a regular guest on a variety of talk shows, and a dedicated mother of twin sons.
Those who know her well describe her as assertive, warm, caring, brilliant, beautiful, warm, and friendly. And her wild success and high status in society helped her get to this point. But it wasn’t easy. Walden’s hard work to the top of her profession began when she was born. Jennifer Walden was born in Austin, along with five children of a dentist father and a surgical nurse mother.
It was early on in these years that she made the decision to go into plastic surgery. She first went into a plastic surgery program at UT Galveston. She then took part in an aesthetic surgery fellowship program at the Manhattan Eye, Ear, and Throat Hospital. She has led work at her Westlake Medical Center in her hometown for the past six years. She makes absolutely sure that every tool and procedure in the hospital meets up to tip-top standards. But her greatest desire in life is to see her two sons succeed in life. She hopes that she is as much an inspiration to them as her mother was to her.
Her mother was and is more an inspiration to her than just professionally. She has also been an inspiration as far as being a mother. Being a good mother while also being a very busy businesswoman has not been easy. That is why she has always gone to her mother for help and guidance.
